Business Litigation
Jacob A. Kamstra is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. While in law school, Mr. Kamstra served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the University of Hawaii Law Review. Mr. Kamstra completed judicial externships with the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Kenneth J. Mansfield, Chief Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. He also served as judicial extern to the Honorable Gary W.B. Chang and the Honorable Virginia L. Crandall (Ret.) of the Circuit Court of the First Circuit, State of Hawaii. Mr. Kamstra received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in his Second-Year Seminar writing course and was a two-time oralist in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Kamstra joined the firm in 2019. Prior to attending law school and joining the firm, Mr. Kamstra worked in IT sales.
