STEVEN V. TORKILDSON
is a director with Torkildson, Katz, Moore, Hetherington & Harris.  He practices primarily in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, commercial transactions and secured lending transactions.  Mr. Torkildson received both his B.A. (1979) and J.D. (1982) degrees from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he was an editor of the law review.  He is a member of the Real Property and Financial Services Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association.  Mr. Torkildson has taught continuing education courses for attorneys and other professionals in subjects including: real estate purchase and sale agreements; Hawaii title law; land development; commercial leases; financing under the Uniform Commercial Code; disclosures in real estate transactions; and mortgage foreclosures.
