John Knorek, a Director at Torkildson Katz, will be a guest speaker at the Society Human Resource Management Hawaii chapter (SHRM Hawaii) HR Basics+ webinar. The two-part event will take place from Sept. 21 to Sept. 22 and from Sept. 28 to Sept. 29. Each event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Sept. 21 and Sept. 22, the first two-day event will be presented by Jill Chapman and provide an overview of the current HR Trends post-pandemic, such as the great resignation. In addition, the fundamental issues surrounding HR will be investigated, and participants will learn how to effectively approach challenging issues in the workplace both now and in the future.
Part two of the event will take place on Sept. 28 and Sept. 29. John Knorek will cover the basics of HR Employment Law, discussing topics such as employment discrimination, harassment, benefit, wage/hour, and more.
