When are the new overtime regulations coming and what will they address? What are the Department of Labor's strategic enforcement priorities and what does the "fissured workplace" have to do with them? Why has the number of directed investigations increased recently and how might your company be impacted? Questions are swirling regarding the DOL's planned overhaul of the exemption classification regulations, as well as the strategic direction that Wage and Hour Administrator Dr. David Weil has set during his first year in the role. One thing we know with certainty is that when it comes to the Fair Labor Standards Act, 2015 promises to be a year of change. HEC is pleased to have attorneys John Knorek and Christine David with Torkildson, Katz, Moore, Hetherington & Harris present a morning program on the most current updates to wage and hour law. Program participants will receive tips on best practices to ensure continued compliance in this shifting legal landscape, so that they may better prepare to manage the changes to come.
