John Knorek will be speaking at Labor Laws and Security Guards Seminar - February 20, 2020

Have you ever wondered if annual raises are mandatory or what steps the Board of Directors takes to monitor the performance of employees?

Attorney John Knorek atĀ Torkildson, Katz, Hetherington, Harris & Knorek, Attorneys at Law will be answering these questions at the Labor Laws and Security Guards seminar on February 20, 2020. He will review the employment law updates and the do's and don'ts for Condo Boards.

Attorney Knorek advocates for large and small employers, covering a broad range of employment aspects, including wrongful discharge law. Knorek is also a founding co-editor of the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce's Desk Manual for Employers and its Model Employer Handbook.

In addition, David Heaukulani at Solutions 4 Security (an organization dedicated to addressing security concerns) will be answering questions regarding the training and licensing requirements for security guards. Heaukulani was a former Honolulu Assistant Police Chief, as well as a physical security specialist who specializes in anti-terrorism.
