Annual OSHA Injury & Illness Recordkeeping Forms Due February 1, 2016
For employers required by OSHA regulations to keep an Injury and Illness Log (OSHA Form 300), the February 1st posting deadline for the 2015 annual Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses (OSHA Form 300-A) is right around the corner. See 29 C.F.R. §1904. For Form 300-A, remember:
- Required for many employers with more than ten (10) employees at any time during 2015, except for those in certain partially exempt industries
- Post a paper copy of 2015's Form 300-A in a conspicuous place(s) where notices to employees are customarily posted (electronic posting alone insufficient)
- Maintain the posting through April 30th
